Configurable Safety Interlocks and Control Stations (DS Range) by IDEM Safety

The DS Range consists of pre-configured and configurable pushbutton control stations with optional integrated guard locking. As a result, it delivers robust and reliable operator control for demanding industrial environments. Thanks to its heavy-duty die-cast construction, the DS Range ensures durability, safety, and long-term performance in harsh conditions.

To simplify installation, each DS unit uses a pre-configured quick-connect interface. Consequently, this plug-and-play design reduces wiring time, minimises errors, and lowers overall commissioning costs.

In addition, the DS Range supports up to 10 integrated pilot devices as standard. Each unit therefore includes an emergency stop, pushbuttons, and a colour lens pack, allowing users to tailor the control layout to their application. Furthermore, an ISO-compliant symbol sticker pack provides clear and consistent button identification.

For applications that require guard locking, the DS Range includes a Type 4 monitored guard lock with a high-coded RFID actuator. As a result, it delivers tamper-resistant detection and a 4,000 N holding force for both hinged and sliding guards. At the same time, lock and guard position monitoring supports integration into PL e / SIL 3 safety systems.

To suit different system requirements, the DS Range offers multiple connector configurations based on the number of pilot devices needed. Accordingly, each unit arrives fully assembled and pre-wired from the factory, ensuring fast deployment and consistent quality.
