EleCylinder slider type actuators with linear guide
EleCylinder in slider type design have built-in guides and are characterised by a very compact device profile. They are equipped with a built-in controller for 2 positions as standard.
The high-rigidity slider types are equipped with a 4-lane linear guide that distributes the payload over 4 instead of 2 steel ball tracks.
This allows higher payloads and load capacities with overhanging workpieces. The permissible dynamic load moment increases to 3.5 times that of the standard version.
With EleCylinder belt axes, the maximum speed does not drop due to the toothed belt drive, even with long travels. This is in contrast to spindle types, where the maximum speed decreases with increasing stroke due to the resonances of the ball screw drive.
The maximum stroke is 2,600 mm, the maximum speed 1,600 mm/s.
EleCylinder ISO class 2.5 slider type actuators with up to 1,500 mm stroke length are designed for payload transport applications in cleanroom environments. As with the complete EleCylinder series, the controller are already built in and start and target positions are freely selectable.
In addition to narrow and highly rigid actuators, there are also wide slider types for high load torques and overhang loads.
The complete EleCylinder series is optionally available with the “3-position mode specification”. This means that stops are not only possible at the set start and end positions, but also in between.
In certain applications, the cycle time can be shortened by stopping at intermediate positions.
The hand-held programming device "Touch Panel TB-03" can communicate wirelessly with EleCylinder actuators.
This means that even axes that are already firmly installed behind covers and invisible from the outside can be reprogrammed quickly and easily.
Large slider types for up to 400 kg payload
Large EleCylinder slider type actuators with 230 V AC servo motor are suitable for large overhangs and high load torques. They have a maximum stroke length of 2,800 mm and reach speeds of up to 2,000 mm/s. Models with intermediate support enable high-speed operation even with long strokes.
The payload can weigh up to 400 kg horizontally and 80 kg vertically. They are equipped with a battery-free absolute encoder as standard and are optionally available with double slides.
